Antique Photo – Solitary Man

Who was he? What was his name?

We may never know, but he’ll live on with us forever.

This faded, ghostly photo of a solitary man is a real daguerreotype from the 1800’s that I cut to size and placed in a silver frame.

He stands poised next to a low, lace covered table where he has placed his hat, and is starring to the side with a slight smile in his eyes.

The simple frame with ornate corners measures just under 4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall and has a stand but no hook for hanging.
