Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart

~William Wordsworth

Once you have purchased a journal, it is yours,

and you may do whatever you like with it!

You do not have to use it as

a standard/daily journal if you don’t want to.

Here are some other great ideas,

for both Blank and Keepsake Journals:

-Use the journal to record a certain time of your life or an event, like a pregnancy or wedding book

-Use it as part journal/part scrapbook to record information about a meaningful place or person,

like a favorite vacation spot or a grandparent.

-It could be a family history/family tree book

-It could be a dedicated self-development journal

-It could be a dream journal

-It could be a sketchbook

There are even more creative ways to use these journals, and how you chose to use yours will be part of your own artistic expression.

But if you’ve never given "standard" journaling a try, don’t be intimidated!

It doesn’t have to be boring or tedious like many people think, and there are tons of incredible, proven benefits.

Here are just a few:

-Journaling reduces anxiety and depression

-It improves your memory

-It boosts your mood

-It enhances emotional intelligence

-It improves immune, liver and lung function

-It increases focus

-It gives you access to important and special memories that you would otherwise completely forget

-It allows you to question your own thoughts and see yourself objectively

-It allows you to fully process life experiences

-It facilitates self-awareness and authenticity

-It’s basically a free therapy session!

-It helps you to stay organized

-It gives you a sensation of well-being, groundedness and control

-With time, it gives you a bird’s eye view of your life and you can see profound patterns that you would otherwise be unaware of

I have been keeping a journal myself since middle school,

so I can attest from personal experience that all

of these benefits are true, and more!

The feeling of stumbling upon an old journal and

reading memories long-forgotten is priceless.

But I understand – if journaling is not yet a habit, it can be a hard one to create.

Which is why I provide a pack of hand-selected journal prompts with every journal.

These prompts are quotes, direct questions, and mini guided visualizations that I have personally chosen over time.

They helped me to turn my own life around and informed my beliefs about the universe at large.

It is my joy to be able to share them with you and to inspire introspection.
